Love and Logic Classes

We sponsor America’s Most Practical and Entertaining Parent Training at Poulsbo Elementary. The goal is to provide parents and adults working with children practical strategies for reducing behavior problems, increasing motivation, and providing skills to build lifelong learners. The Parenting The Love and Logic Way program is an effective approach giving parents easy-to-learn skills.

Kathleen Sutton Foundation

We support the Kathleen Sutton Foundation. Based on financial need and the completion of a simple application process, funds are available for women being treated for cancer and a companion or if needed an insured driver. Allowable costs include: all ferry fees, parking, tolls, and any other transit expense.

North Kitsap Soccer Club Nick Brooke

We contribute to the Nick Brooke Memorial Scholarship Fund. It was established in memory of Nick Brooke and his passion and love for the game of soccer. Scholarships are awarded to underprivileged soccer players in the greater North Kitsap area so that they too can develop a passion for the game.

Salvation Army

We volunteer for Holiday kettles and bell ringing. The Salvation Army offers a diverse array of social service programs catering to the needs of children, families, seniors and individuals.

KeyClub

We are chartering a Key Club at North Kitsap High School. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.
